Very friendly staff, great location right in the heart of front beach. They upgraded me for free but stick with original room because it had a balcony. Room cleaned and sheets changed daily, breakfast was very good as long as you got there before 9. Loads of choices including bacon and sausages, fresh omelette and eggs, salads and soups toast and fruit and cakes. Nice tea and coffee and fresh juice. Lovely big swimming pool with free towels. I was there over the tet holiday and was invited as a special guest to sister hotel to watch the fireworks, free buffet and beers all night. I also rented a scooter from reception. Very cheap and decent bike. Highly recommend this hotel.

Close to local beach and restaurants. Excellent buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. Very big pool with towels provided poolside.

Once we found a receptionist who could also speak english, our experience was very good. We needed to change rooms because we needed walk-in showers, and that was no problem. When we were advised that our Booking.com transport back to Ho Chi Minh city had been cancelled arbitrarily at the last minute, the receptionist organised a local vehicle instantly - full marks for this.

It's not the most modern hotel but everything worked and theses a nice pool and they took care of all my needs

I stayed at the rex hotel for 21 nights and enjoyed every minute I was there .the service was second to none room cleaning every day fresh bed linen .the staff were brilliant and really friendly. Receptionist brilliant to check in to check out.hopefuly I can stay again sometime next year. Thank you Paul.

One of Vung Tau's older hotels (and it shows in places) but great, spacious rooms at a very good price. The junior suite (upgraded to an executive suite in the quiet end of the hotel) was huge and excellent value at £46 a night.

I've stayed at the Rex a number of times. It's an old hotel. The rooms and clean nice beds, The hotel staff are very helpful and make you feel very welcome.. Roof top cocktail bar nice in evening to relax and enjoy the view. Ideal location for restaurants ,bars and a nice walk along the seafront.
